RESULTS OF AIRPROFIL COMPRESSED AIR TRAININGS IN 2011

Compressed air accounts for about 10 to 15% of electricity consumption in most of the industrial sites, and in many cases the savings from 20 to 30% are possible... Read more

Airprofil Trainings
Industrial Compressed Air Trainings
Airprofil is a privately owned and independent company specialized in industrial flow measurements and optimizing studies, particularly in the domain of compressed air, but also nitrogen, water and steam.

The company’s expertise in this field is based on daily measurements by Airprofil Campaigns in various industries all over Europe. You can find information about Airprofil Campaigns in: www.airprofil-campaigns.com

You can rent or buy flowmeters from Airprofil Meters: www.airprofil-meters.com.

Studies by Airprofil are, so far, only documented in French and German: www.airprofil.com. We have started to develop Airprofil Studies out of France, to Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland and Germany, and even to Greece. We need however to recruit local Engineers and train them, or find local partners.

Trainings
This site is dedicated to Airprofil Trainings. These trainings offer theoretical and practical preparation for people conceiving or running compressed air systems.

Why compressed Air Trainings?
Compressed air production learning often consists of on-the-job training.

As a result, the people in charge of compressed air stations have generally a good knowledge of their own installations but curiously have a lack of theoretical knowledge and are not aware of other compressors and dryers technologies.

Who is concerned ?
Most trainees who went through EAC Compressed Air Trainings had the following profiles:

- Service engineers or service managers looking for theoretical knowledge and information about available technologies as well as compressed air management methods like W/m3 ratio, m3 per manufactured unit, leak flow / average capacity ratio.

- Technicians in charge of compressed air stations operation as outsourcing providers. These trainees are usually highly experimented in other technical fields like heating or refrigeration but need a serious preparation before operating large power compressors.

- Project managers or sales engineers with high scientific background and looking for practical knowledge in order to conduct energy audits or to prepare compressed air supply contracts.

One specific training for one specific need
Airprofil offers 7 different trainings corresponding to the most specific needs in the industry. However, for the time being, only the first 3 trainings are available in English.
